Bye, bye Puddy-cat :-(

Recommended Posts

Had to have my Puddy pts on Thursday

She'd been having occasional fits and the vet diagnosed a brain tumour, so I'd known for a while the day would come. Thursday morning, she had the most violent fit (it was so bad, I wasn't sure she'd even live through it) so that decision had to be made.

I know it was the best thing, but I miss my number 1 Pud-Pud, who was always a character (even if not always a pleasant one) and always very proud of being such a pretty girl :) .

Always in my heart and still my avatar.

Thank you everyone, I knew you would understand.

It's strange times when I miss my gorgeous Pud - the lack of her snuggling up on the sofa, no one yowling loudly in protest at being put out, only three bowls for dinner :( . There's no denying she could be a bit of a madam, but she could also be very cuddly and cute, especially if there was chicken or fish to scrounge  . The other cats don't seem to miss her at all, but then she was very greedy and used to steal their dinner, so they're probably just glad to eat in peace.

Puddy was a garden foundling over 8 1/2 years ago, wandered in and took over my home and my life. Nothing stakes a claim quite like a cat demanding a home :D!
