ubereglu
I have a really good excuse a buying a pair of crocs... a)I don't have a pair b)My wellies are too small
Milly
I had to buy crocs when I got my eglu. 1. Because I had been thinking about both (separately) for a long time. 2. And you all seem to have them. 3. And because they are just the thing for going out on wet grass (it's always wet this summer) to let the chickens out - much better than slippers. I couldn't match my blue eglu, and the colours I liked weren't available in my size on the day I made my purchase, so I ended up with safe black. As the woman in the shop said, a lot of people buy a safe colour then come back for some brighter ones...... But I did notice some were made in Romania, some in China and some in Italy. I'm trying to persuade OH to get some as they are so comfortable. But he is resisting so far .... Milly

Lesley
....especially if you bring him along to the Stratford Farmers' Market - all our OH's, and Martin, wear Crocs
Egluntyne
. But I did notice some were made in Romania, some in China and some in Italy.Milly Perhaps I am wrong about the ones I bought and took back being fakes. However, they were definitely different and unsatisfactory. Even though they purported to be size 5 Caymans, they were a good one and a half cms shorter, and the strap thingumy bob whatsit was too short. It did not sit properly over the top when in the "clog" position and was far to tight in the "sling back" setting! Grrrr
Louise
I have noticed that about the fake ones too Egluntine my mum has some grey fake ones and because the back strap is shorter than the shoe she is wearing mine in order to have shoes that stay on her foot
Egluntyne
Went into Sheffield city centre this am.....and couldn't resist the siren call of Fusion. I bought a pair of Army Green Caymans...this time made in China, but apart from that, exactly like those made in Boulder, Colorado, with a long enough strap etc. Anyroadup.....got chatting to the shop owner and he has asked me to tell all the crocs wearers that I know that he has an...online shop..., which doesn't charge P&P to UK customers. They are selling like hotcakes, and he can't get them in fast enough! He was interested to hear my view on those made in Romania.
ubereglu
Well our local Millets have now stopped selling them and have started selling holey soles instead. So I'll have to look for a pair whilst I'm on holiday in York!

Chicken deficient
the strap thingumy bob whatsit was too short. It did not sit properly over the top when in the "clog" position and was far to tight in the "sling back" setting! I read somewhere that the strap is 'adjustable', as in, you can make it bigger. apparently you hold it either side of where it says "Crocs", and then stretch it slowly until it is the length you want. You can't make it smaller again though... I got mine online from www.sweetfeetshoes.co.uk for about £28 for the first pair, but then they sent me a 10% off voucher for the next pair . They arrived really quickly and they don't charge p+p, and they seem to have all the colours in all the styles.

Mrs T
What a fantastic colour , does anyone know where I can get the grape coloured ones, as I can't seem to find them. I have tried Jelly Egg, as I got my cotton candy pink ones from them. I would absolutely love a grape coloured pair, Good match for my Eglu.
