The Dogmother
DM is in the wet and dark part of Banburyshire, I seem to be in the sunny spring part. I wouldn't mind, but we're only about 5 miles apart! Dull and overcast here now.
chickencam
Sunny here, we have some daffodils out too and loads of crocus have popped out of nowhere over the weekend, so pretty
The Dogmother
I think we have a storm on the way - black skies coming over and the leccie keeps flickering...any more of this and the generator will kick in - it's right beside my office, so that gets deafening
Valkyrie
Raining heavily again. Pffffft - boring!!!!! I fancy a nice change and have a week free of rubbish - nice gentle breeze (if any), warm sun and maybe the pretty white clouds that you can make pictures out of your imagination with. BlueSilver
We have your rain here in Wilts. We'd like to give it back, we've got enough. Thank my various deities I live on a hill, it's still flooded to the east of me and my son came home from school early as the fields were flooded earlier this month. WTB an ark. The Dogmother
Yep, the predicted rain has started here - black sky and heavy rain. Thunder predicted for later and rain for much of the week Waaaaaaaah! Just overheard the estate manager saying there's supposed to be snow later in the week
Valkyrie
We really need a hissy fit smiley. I don't want thunder! But it has come down very heavy throughout the day - some sun in between but overall not nice. Floods and little rivers running across the road this morning when I dropped the boy off in Aldershot - and it wasn't even as heavy as it got after that! The Dogmother
We've had that too, interspersed with some sun.

Guest
Another lovely day here, short shower but that is all. It has not been very warm though. I could happily cope with whole year of this weather
Purplemaniacs
A nice day here too. But I have heard the 'S' word on the forecast, with an amber warning Chrissie.

chickencam
Well it would be too much to ask for Spring. Lovely here apart from a couple of brief showers. Had one of those conquer the world days
The Dogmother
Apart from the odd shower, it has been lovely here. I've also had a snow alert on my (usually very accurate) weather app.... around midnight Thursday through to Friday morning; ice and snow!
Groovychook
Been a lovely day here too- just with the odd sharp shower and a bit of hail this morning.
chickencam
Lovely day here too. There seems to be a lot of debate about where the snow will hit, looks like we may get some slushy stuff but that's all.
Valkyrie
Missed a few days - computer died, but overall I think the weather had been better. Yesterday was lovely. Back to walking in our nice organic farm and looking at the wildlife. Even had one of those tree bumblebee queens sunning herself on our front door. But Basingstoke had 80 homes evacuated, and further along to Overton they have coned off one side of the road and used traffic lights because of the flood! Never ever seen that before. And even when the rain was at it's worst it was fine, so this last week sealed the deal - yet the rain wasn't that bad recently! And in Basingstoke some of the houses on a hill had floods in their front gardens up to the front doors - so what was that all about!!!!???? Couldn't really say they had the water table rising up! Had to be water pouring down from further up the hill, yet houses below seemed fine! Well this morning it's cloudy but we have had sun. OH went for a walk early and cut it short because he got soaked soon after he set off. Not rained since - but probably will soon enough!
Guest
Yesterday was glorious, today is OK but with some black clouds that seem quite gruesome, hopefully they will blow over. We are cracking on with outdoors chores as the wet since November has really set us back. Going to clean out the WIR now, I do hope my little helpers only trip me up half a dozen times today

Guest
Blooming gorgeous here, I am just about to go treat (technical term for throwing paint around, result is 50% of paint ends up on decking and 50% ends up on me, the cat from 3 doors down and a bus passing 2 streets away) the decking to a coat of something posh. Hubby taking Friday off as forecast is good so that way he can get some pathways gravelled
