The Dogmother
Was clear here first thing and icy too, we've had some sun, but it's overcast now and still cold.
Groovychook
Lovely cheerful sunshine one minute/ heavy showers the next. Everywhere was very soggy this morning so I think it must've chucked it down in the night.

The Dogmother
There are some spectacular clouds at the moment, perhaps we'll get the promised thunder.
chickencam
Couple of heavy showers but otherwise quite pleasant here today. Forecast looks good for next couple of days, I intend to catch up on my decorating and start on the garden.
Valkyrie
Under an inch of water again this evening, but it did stop raining long enough for me to clean the cube!
The Dogmother
-1deg and clear this morning, luckily I put the frost screen on the car last night Let's hope that my office is warmer today - didn't get above 16deg yesterday, and that was with both heaters on I sat looking daggers at anyone who stood in the doorway, holding the door open
chickencam
A light frost around this morning, but bright and sunny, looks like it's going to be a good day
The Dogmother
Sunny now and 3deg with some clouds hanging around.
Valkyrie
Thick frost and apparently minus 3 to start with, but by the time I got to the car the sun had melted it off the windows. Cloudy but hazy sun at the moment.
patsylabrador
Gorgeous day, warm and sunny. Sort of did gardening but the ground is very, very wet so I ended up thinning out the candy floss stuff in the pond. It's a bit cloudier now but the cloud is in lines like those packets of pleated cotton wool. I don't know what that type of cloud is called but it is beautiful. The Dogmother
Was clear and frosty here first thing, but has since got a bit cloudy and still feels nippy. I've heard there is a warm weekend due though
Cinnamon
That's something to look forward to! Just been told that JL won't insure my house, because its a flood risk. We live in one of the highest areas in Henley, & are several miles from the river....madness!
Daphne
Lots of Henley is quite high up isn't it, how strange After the worst winter that locals can remember - we've had 150% of average rainfall, not as bad as the UK which I believe is over 200% in parts, but still pretty depressing - today has been sunny and bright and the temps reached 20 degrees this afternoon. We are set fair for 10 days or so, I sincerely hope this warmer weather IS on its way to you guys
Valkyrie
Ridiculous - tell them to come and have a look and you'll give them egg on toast while they survey the valley below and see you are no where near flooding unless it was one huge tidal wave in which case "Ooops, word censored!"ody will be claiming as we'll all be washed away! My friend lives in Tunbridge Wells. She lives at the top of the most steepest hill you'd ever not want to climb up - brings a new meaning to the mile high club! Yet she has also had trouble getting insurance because she is on a flood plain! Well it's breezy here, a bit cloudy but we have had sun. And at least it's dry. Fine enough for Mostin to have a new orpie cuddle in my garden. Twice! And a Skye cuddle - who then wanted to do her parrot impersonation. Ooh almost forgot. The cotton wool clouds are cumulus. The Dogmother
Warm at 7deg at 5am this morning, but it's bee grey, cool and drizzly all day
Charlottechicken
Despite the fact that I didn't have to s"Ooops, word censored!"e the car this morning, it felt much colder than the past two frosty days today I've now lit the woodburner and am feeding it copious amounts of lovely free wood! Groovychook
A mizzly, drizzly day here but looking forward to a stretch of promised DRY days!!
chickencam
I agree it has felt colder today, there has been more wind and no sunshine. I have had the windows open all day decorating and no slippers so I didn't get paint on them and my feet have been freezing. Sitting by the wood burner now
Guest
Yesterday was horribly wet which we were not expecting . Hubby has taken today off to lay some pathways in the chicken garden (the forecast said dry when he booked the time off). Doesn't take much rain for the garden to turn back to slushy mud again I hope hubby managed to get most of the paths done today as it will make a huge difference to the appearance f the garden. Very dark here this morning and an undecided feel to the air.
The Dogmother
After a ghastly start - dark and raining hard, it is now lovely, warm breeze, sunny and 15deg in the shade!!!!
Daphne
Crept up to 22 here, hottest day of the year, so naturally we are in the midst of hacking down various thickets which are threatening to take over Now sitting down with a nice cup of tea, writing this
