Willow
My ES turns 18 tomorrow I'm not ready for him to leave home yet, even though he is He got a birthday card from our local MP this morning and I wondered if that was standard for MPs when you reach voting age ? or just something our local MP does ? Purplemaniacs
Maybe they have to have an affiliation with the party? No he has no affiliation with any party nor do we. We didn't either, we assumed they look at the electoral role and see who is coming up to vote in a forthcoming election. Chrissie

Lydia
I remember getting one when I turned 18. Our MP, where we lived at the time, was from a party I didn't support and I was rather cross. So I burnt it along with some photographs of my boyfriend of 2 years who'd recently dumped me! It was hugely cathartic
