Luvachicken
Yes, sorry, no pictures as yet. By the time I've got in from school and lunchtime supervisor, then had my own lunch and then given Queenie her top up it is almost dark. And now the MIL has come to stay and she doesn't do chickens The sun is meant to be out Monday so will hopefully get some pics then and MIL will have gone
Luvachicken
MIL got up this morning and looked out of my kitchen window to see my girls. She seemed to quite like them but then said " what are those white ones ?" I looked all around and said "oh, you mean the grey ones" White ......... grey ???????????? Any difference at all
wez
Love Pekins! We've got Milly (millefleur), Lilly (lavender), Tilly (cuckoo - mad as a box of frogs), Dolly (silver partridge) and Ruby (red) ... as Lilly Lavender gets older her colouring is changing as she was really quite white at first but given the weather at the moment and their love of scratching around in all things muddy their foot feathers are generally 'sludge' coloured. Good job they dry out ... roll on summer!!!

Luvachicken
Hope you like them, my little helper came home from uni for the weekend Tilly, Polly, Zoe and Chloe sitting together nicely. All four of them playing in the leaves. Tilly and Polly. And Zoe and Chloe - not quite identical now - one is slightly darker than the other - but I still haven't decided who is who They look are a lot greyer than the pictures show. Luvachicken
Never mind Redsunset Yes Polly is a millefleur pekin and if I remember correct the other one, Tilly, is a lemon cuckoo. Polly is similar to my Gemma but has a lot more snow on her ( and I think she is bigger than my original pekins too )

Beantree
Very pretty indeed Luvachicken. What really surprised me was that Tilly looks just like our Buff Orpington cock did when he was only 6 weeks old, just a sweet little ball of feathers.
