bluekarin
Did anyone watch last night? I think its going to be a good one, especially as its the last series.
Grandmashazzie
Yes,it was nice to see familiar faces. Am thinking Lenny Henry might be a baddy, otherwise it's a very small part for him
soapdragon
Having missed the first series we started to watch the second as the hype was so good. However, we soon gave up as it made no sense without having seen the first series and followed the characters (this wasn't just us; loads of others said they felt the same!) Therefore we are giving the third series a miss too. Maybe we'll get the first on DVD for holiday watching.......
Alis girls
Series two wasn't so good. This looks promising.

I thought it was dire. Decided to give this one a try because it will be the last and I'm glad that we did... It's so much better and I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to next week episode. Yes,it was nice to see familiar faces. Am thinking Lenny Henry might be a baddy, otherwise it's a very small part for him That's exactly what i thought! Alis girls
The replacement last night on BBC 1 was gripping too. Worth a watch

Daphne
I thought The Replacement was excellent, really excellent, can't wait for the next one I didn't watch series 2 of Broadchurch as it got terrible views, so I won't be picking up on this one. chickencam
We thought about watching the Replacement but it sounded a bit dark and creepy. I can cope with murder but if it all gets a. It too twisted I dwell on it too much. Did think Broadchurch was good, couple of bits of dodgy acting but it gave a very uncomfortable insight into what it would be like to suffer an assault and how daunting the reporting process is even when you are well treated
Daphne
Fair enough. If you did want to give it go, I wouldn't call it dark, more of a psychological drama. It was gripping in a 'I wonder what's going on?' sort of way, which personally I find very engaging as it keeps my attention. In fact most of the acting was done by suggestive looks Plus there were plenty of nice people, clothes and interiors to look at I also like the fact that it was a new angle to explore
Cinnamon
We really enjoyed it too. My Grandparents used to live in West Bay, where a lot of it is filmed, so I recognise a lot of the scenery. In fact one house used is almost next door to their old home, where I spent many long summers. Looking forward to the next episode. FABULOUS acting, especially her who used to be in Coronation Street!
Grandmashazzie
Chickencam you might enjoy The Coroner. I found it on iplayer and wondered how I had missed it. I have just discovered it's on a 2 in the afternoon. Quite nice wee murder mystery not too gruesome. Clair Goose is in it,she is good little actor. bluekarin
I like The Coroner too. I was watching it not realising it was the second series. They are showing the first on BBC1 currently.
Egluntyne
I can't for the life of me remember what happened in series 2 of Broadchurch.

bluekarin
I can't for the life of me remember what happened in series 2 of Broadchurch. Neither could I for a second, but just read this and it brought it back https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Broadchurch_(series_2)
Janepie33
Loving both Broadchurch and The Replacement and funnily enough, I saw the tail end of the Coroner this afternoon also never having heard of it! Bit of a TV addict here!
chickencam
I watch very little tv, I can pretty much count on one hand the regular programs that we watch. Strictly, homeland, humans, broadchurch and great canal journeys- I love the relationship that Prunella Scales and Timothy West have it is something for us all to aspire to
SeramaSilly
I like Broadchurch too but also because a lot of it is filmed in Clevedon where I live - all the shop scenes, the house scenes and the churchyard are all in Clevedon. In the first series it was really funny because two characters were talking to each other - one you could see was in Clevedon and the other in West Bay. I watched them all morning once when they were filming a scene - unbelievable how many takes they have to make! Loving the replacement too!! Cinnamon
How funny Sophie P! I used to live in Henley which is close to Reading, and they once filmed in Henley town centre , but the scene out of the windows was of West Bay, where my Grandparents lived and where I used to holiday every summer as a child. They also filmed in a cafe in Reading, which I was lucky enough to see a bit of. The rape victims house is almost next door to my Grandparents old house this series and the wooden bus shelter where Olivia Coleman was talking to Dannys mum in West Bay was where I had my first proper kiss! SeramaSilly
Hi Cinnamon, Very strange that they're filming in three locations isn't it?!! :-
Grandmashazzie
They do strange things. Line of Duty first series was filmed in Birmingham. Next series in Belfast with maps of Birmingham on wall
Cinnamon
After seeing last nights episode, I have a theory. Trishs lover the morning of the attack....was a woman. Hence her not wanting to say who it was. My money is on the woman who hosted the party. I think her Husband found out and possibly carried out the attack. Anyhow, just a theory...we shall see! Plum
That's not one I thought of. So, the woman who held the party?
