Egluntyne
Two batty sisters have been paying weekly visits to their late mother's unburied body at an undertakers for more than a decade. They reapply lipstick and foundation to her rotting corpse and sit with her for hours. She must bear more than a passing resemblance to Norman Bates' Mother. No-one is breaching any laws apparently. Read about it ...here... Is it just me or does anyone else think that these two need help and that their poor mother needs laying to rest ASAP. Couperwife
Two batty sisters have been paying weekly visits to their late mother's unburied body at an undertakers for more than a decade. They probably havent noticed her deteriorating, if they have seen her every weekend for the last 10 years, its like if you see someone putting on or losing weight. if you see them all the time you dont notice, if you see them once a year, you really do notice. either way, it really gross and their mother should be allowed to RIP
Goosey Lucy
It sounds totally bizarre. I also think that it has become such a part of their lives that they now can't do without the ritual. As for other people getting involved from my own experience if someone can't see anything wrong in what they are doing then no-one is going to be able to help them no matter what the situation. I just feel sorry for them and the rst of the family who don't have a grave or similar place to visit to pay their last respects. craftyhunnypie
They obviously can't let go! Have they never heard of bereavement counselling? It's rather disgusting in my opinion and I see it as them being a bit warped if not sort of abusing their mother! Emma.x

Popcorn
Sheila - you took the words right out of my mouth!! Eglutine - when I first read your post, I thought it was the begining of a joke. I'm not really sure what to think. It's not something that appeals to me, but I'm not disturbed by it either (as long as I don't have to see their Mother).
