Guest
I have just driven from Gatwick to Huddersfield, over to York, via Leeds and then down past Doncaster to Sheffield and the M1. All the way down the M1 to the M25 and to Horley via Reigate. There were several 'friends' I thought of as I drove past familiar sounding places and I wondered how many people I could have waved at! Must be quite a fair few I should think! If I went near you, give yourself a virtual wave from me!

Jules.
when we went to Legoland we could have come home via the motorway that goes through Banbury- we were going to wave at Claret!
The Dogmother
when we went to Legoland we could have come home via the motorway that goes through Banbury- we were going to wave at Claret! Don't just wave Hon, pop in! We're 5 mins drive from J11 of the M40. We've often met up with Omleteers on our travels; if I know we're going to be passing someone I know, I PM them and if we can, we meet up. If not, then it's fine too. Guest
I thought of you Egluntine, as I passed Sheffield. And I thought of all the West Midlands people as I passed the junction for the M40. 550 miles in two days! But I have a new love of driving and adventuring and really enjoyed it - on my own too. Popcorn
Ginette - If I'd have known you were passing Leicester on the M1, I'd have invited you in to make me a cup of lemon and honey while I'm stuck in bed with the horrible virus I've had for 9 days now. Little waves from Leicester anyway...
Guest
Poor you Gina. 9 days is far too long - I hope you've seen a doctor! Leicester had really foul weather as I passed by last night. Hot lemon and Ginger would have been great for both of us and I could have played with the lovely Stefan. I spent the morning with my Godson, who's 10 months old so I was right into baby mode! I hope you're better very soon - and I sent you a wave anyway.

Cate in NZ
Me, me, me, from the M25 ou'd have crossed the Thames at the Dartford crossing, that's not very far from me, and my best friend from primary school and ever after lives in Slaithwaite (Huddersfield) so you were pretty close to her too And you know very well that you're always welcome her for a cuppa and a chat, but I'm a bit close to home for that I guess.
