Guest
I'm completely barmy about Penguins and have been since I was a little kid. All over the internet I'm Penguinmad or KathrynPenguin. Oh there was one site where I was Liketohavebeenapenguin but that was complicated as it was done to fit in with others who all had been in their names. Sheilaz
....I guess a few people think my surname is Cooper but it isn't.... I thought Couper was your surname. But then, I thought a friend was called Austin Morris for ages, as a mutual friend introduced him as that, & wondered why everyone laughed when I said his name. His first name wasn't' Austin. Oh well. I chose Sheila because it's my name.

Janty
My husband started calling me Janty and it sort of stuck with close friends... that's why I chose my username.
Mrs Frugal
....I guess a few people think my surname is Cooper but it isn't.... I thought Couper was your surname. So did I ! I chose Sheila because it's my name. So did I - Kate, that is, not Sheila . The SuperKate evolved when I became site admin and had super powers. Don't ask about the pants though . bellekatz
We used to have a gorgeous black cat called Belle ( cos she was beautiful!!) so I used it for lots of usernames. Belle and katz ( for more than 1 cat! ) I am really Jayne. I also find its usually available!
Tessa the Duchess
My first username was my christian and surname, a Mod asked me to change it for security reasons. I chose The Duchess because I was feeling regal at the time no idea why Tessa
Chicken Licken
Chicken licken from the children's story of course. I think from the one with Henny Penny and Foxy Loxy. The sad thing is I can't remember if it is the one where the sky is falling in, or the one where the chook is collecting the grain to make the bread!! (It feels as if it was a long time ago that I had the stories read to me as a child)
ubereglu
Well originally my username was noeglu as I didn't have an eglu when I joined the forum, (I did have chooks though!) Then I thought I should change it once I finally got my eglu and I remembered a newspaper headline about the eglu - uber chic, so I nicked the idea and now my username is ubereglu! Clash City Rocker
"clash city rocker(s)" was the name of a song by a band I grew up listening to & watching "The Clash". Before registering I also considered "eggs Pistol" (sex pistol) another band from my youth!!!
Cate in NZ
Mines boring really............in fact I fully intend to change it next summer, working on a few ideas already But originally when I signed up the forum someone else had already grabbed by first name (Kate) as a username.......I wonder who that could've been , so, as an alternative decided to make my name my surname followed by family because it was going to be a joint family account so we could all join in the fun. Then all the rest of the family lost interest and stopped logging in (and couldn't now even if they wanted too- I changed the password ). Then when we all got a bit security conscious a while back I decided that in view of my fairl uncommon surname that I'd just keep the first letter of it, hence Afamily
Jules.
Speaking of security conciousness- I notice that on the gallery my full name appears
Mrs Frugal
Can you go to the gallery, log in, click "your account" at the top right of the page, go to the bit which says "Full name" and edit it to say whatever it is you want it to say. I've just done it with mine but I'm logged in as admin and don't know if you'll have the same options. If not, give me a shout. I don't think I can change it for you but I'll give James a nod to see if he can. Edited November 21, 2007 by Guest
Cate in NZ
Ooops Jules, that's a bit naughty . I have no powers to edit in the gallery at all (thank goodness............it scares me ) but it'd be worth bringing it to Kate's attention, I'm sure she can wave her wand over it
bronze
Mines from my name I use it a lot of places but get annoyed when its alread gone. I can't use too many things I get confused
Jules.
Tis done! I put my full name in because the screen prompt asked me to do so. Maybe the prompt needs clarifying so people know that their chosen full name will appear on screen?
Mrs Frugal
It is a pain, isn't it. I can't do that. I'm not sure if James can but it shouldn't ask for full names, should it. I'll see if James can do anything.

I have been called Helly Welly as well in my past... gooner.girl is just cos a 'gooner' is a nickname for an "Ooops, word censored!"nal fan - not sure i am a 'girl' anymore (27 now! ) but gooner.women doesn't have the same ring to it! Not quite sure why i added a dot - i might take that out....
Milly
Mine isn't very imaginative - I couldn't think of anything when asked for a username, so chose the name my close family have called me since I was little. I'm not sure where it came from - Millicent Mops was the longer term! Milly
