craftyhunnypie
What to buy from a pampered chef party? Just wondered if any of you had some good stuff from Pampered chef that is worth buying - as I'm going a party tonight & don't want to buy any gadgets that will get left in the cupboard! Clur
The pizza stones are good as are any of the stone bakeware!
Ain't Nobody Here
I went to one recently but didn't really want to spend a fortune (not a lot of spare cash at present ). It all looks lovely but is pricey and I knew it would just get left in a cupboard, like you say. I ended up getting a spatula thingy - long handled with a rubber end - it's actually really good! Gets down to the bottom of jars and is good for s"Ooops, word censored!"ing bowls too. Costs roughly £6.
Egluntyne
The stoneware is all fab. The Food chopper is very useful. I use mine a lot. The garlic crusher is the best I've found. The Chef Tools Turnabout is great. (Mine is white) You can get a lot of things cheaper on ebay.
craftyhunnypie
Hiya - thanks everyone! They do the same pizza stone in Boots for £20 ish. The chopper, I already have one similar. I fancy the mini muffin tin & tart former, the baker's roller and pastry mat. I guess it will be an expensive evening!!!! But I love cookware & it gets a lot of use. Not stopped using my kenwood & remoska!!! Roughly how long do the parties last as I want to get home & do some listing on that famous auction site!!! I have looked on there, but not seen what I want! I love Lakeland too & will head straight for there on Sunday in York!!!! Emma.x
Guest
never heard of them I'm afraid but I use pizza trays from Asda (the ones with the holes in) they're about £3 each and they're brill. £20 sounds like a lot of cash to spend on a pizza stone. I make my own pizza and they cook perfectly on the trays with the holes. I make the dough in my breadmaker and the sauce in my slow cooker, dead easy. Just involves a small amount of rolling and grating and that's it. I want a creme brulee torch for Christmas! I'd still go and have a look though, I love cookware and bakeware, I need a flan dish as I've started to make loads of quiches due to using up eggs and keep having to use cake tins! Blackrocksrock
I bought some little glass bowls - just about 100ml + worth and lids - they are wonderful for left overs in fridge and freezer and I use them to save gravy etc and freeze it = also good for half lemons etc in fridge - with them having plastic lids is great and I would buy more the next party I go to. I also bought a large glass jug with lid as I make loads of pancakes etc and its good to use instead of the worn out plastic one I had from Tupperwear. Have a nice party

Yum. My sort of present, tasty and practical. The measuring jug was a good size too.

Ain't Nobody Here
I only found out about it recently. It's a bit like a Tupperware or Bodyshop party, someone hosts it and a demonstrator comes along and cooks a dish and after tasting it, you can buy something from the catalogue. It all seems to be pretty up-market stuff, good quality but quite pricey. I think it came from America but is catching on here (may be wrong ).
