Lesley
Thank you all for your get well wishes, I feel a lot better now although the pain is on and off. I wish I could sit in a comfy chair - we have left the house fully furnished, ready to sell and just have an odd assortment of junk here at the farm, mostly garden furniture. We also have the spare bed which is OK but so small compared to our monster size bed. To make matters worse, on the couple of days when I felt really poorly, the carpenter was working in our bedroom so I couldn't even go and lie down The collection of piglets went well - I was expecting them to be tiny but they are 10 weeks old and strong little porkers already! They are in temporary housing at the moment (just like the rest of us - chickens included) but will move into a pig ark out in the field, at the end of the week. We have to electric-fence train them first. As requested - here are the photos............. Eglus! Chickens Kitties Three little pigs! Welcome to Sage, Onion and Malone! Popcorn
Hi Lesley....really good to hear from you. Glad all is coming along for you at the farm. Hope you are on the mend now and are feeling a bit better than last week. There's always a spare bed here if you need it The photo's are brilliant - the Eglu's look fab! The piglets are gorgeous - I love the black and white one. Have you had anybody look at your house yet? It must be hard living out of boxes (or inside of!) while all your stuff is still in the other house. You must be itching to get sorted. Good luck with everything, especially selling up and moving your furnature. Fingers crossed for a quick sale now xxxx

Nicola H
The pics are great lesley, you are so lucky..............Are the pigs really only 10 weeks old they must grow very fast............They are still cute. I think you could do with a couple of mark 3 Eglus to house all your chickens.

Cate in NZ
Daughter just read this over my shoulder, ended up with " Mum... can we have a farm... pleeeeeease ". I love the piggies, in fact it all looks fabulous I'm so glad to hear that you're feeling a little better, but the temporary accomodation/ furniture bit doesn't sound too great. I hope it all goes through quickly, nice, quick buyer for the old place and a quick settling in for the new. So many good wishes, you just wouldn't believe. The Dogmother
Lesley and Carl's farm is coming along, and the animals look more settled already. The piggies are gorgeous, and really strong. They were licking my feet and biting my toes when we saw them yesterday. I wouldn't want to be the one to stop them if they wanted to do something badly! Phil and Rosie were very impressed and R now wants a farm badly.
Chicken on a mission
When I find myself getting extremely green with envy I try to remember how much work having a smallholding or farm must be.... But it hasn't helped Lesley it looks like you have made some real progress. Tempting though it must be to get stuck into things I hope that you will try to try to keep a control on yourself until you feel 100%.

Hellcat
Lesley, glad you're feeling a bit better. I am in love with the piggies. Are they tamworths and an old spot? The eglus look lovely BUT I think a mark 3 would look sooo much more elegant (but I say that about my back garden too!). Are the 'dinners' in the wooden ark? Glad you are finally living the dream. All hail!
