redfrock
This was my birthday present from my best friend - how thoughtful! And isn't it fab (well I think so anyway!). Now I have just got to find somewhere to put it .... Edited December 4, 2007 by Guest

The Dogmother
That's gorgeous Claire - very stylish. Better not let Lesley see it - right up her street too.

redfrock
Is it an ornament? No, its a thing! It's on a stand, and stands in total about foot and a half tall, by a foot wide. I was trying to put it as my avatar but failed miserably. Despite using photobucket and resizing to avatar
The Dogmother
Claire, have you tried saving it to your hard drive and browsing for it in your profile? If you're still having problems, then PM Kate - she has access to other people's accounts and can sort it for them. I can't do that without your password. Goosey Lucy
It's beautiful. I wish I had the space for something like that. My cousin, a blacksmith, made us a fabulous wrought iron candelabra when we got married. The only place I can put it is the garden so it comes out in the summer but has to be covered over if it rains. We didn't use it much this year

redfrock
although it looks a bit like a weather vane (!) it is actually for indoors - a lot of it has a mother of pearl effect. Not sure where she got it from ... I will keep my eyes open and try to wheedle it out of her.
