CatsCube
Im amazed at how cheap your able to build your run, when its the same size as mines going to be and mine is working out over double the cost! Can I ask at what cost and where you got your wood from, as I have worked out that the wood alone for mine is nearly £200. Is that exterior grade 2 x 2 your using? CockADoodleDoo
yes it is 2" by 2" pressure treated timber, some from wickes and some from the wood merchant in wimbledon, the cost of my run is actually about £300 because i forgot about the roof and paving to put it on, but my wood cost aroung £13 Hope This Helps
CatsCube
Ah great, I have manged to work it out a little cheaper as I looke don Wicks online and they are cleaper than B&Q alough I could only find 3x3, so hopefully they will have 2x2 on the store and that will make it even cheaper. Their gravel boards are massivly cheaper, especially as you can get them in 5 packs
Christian
I used Wickes for my gravel boards for the veggie garden. £10 per pack of five I think, good price!

CatsCube
thats looking excellent, what material are you using for the roof, and will you be putting any support beams across the top to help support it. I was thinking of poping a cross of wood over the top to help prevent the wind getting under it and weakening it.
