chickenlass
This morning coming back from seeing my pony and walking the dog in the woods near the livery yard, I crashed my car I very large tractor with those extra wide wheels was coming towards me on a bend on the road to my village and I didn't allow enough room for the really wide tyres and have stoved all the drivers side in. No wing mirror buckled door and total respray need all along that side. I'm OK just shaken up and my little dog who rides on the back seat was wearing a dog harness thank goodness as I dread to think what may have happened to her it she wasn't strapped in. I'm really going to need my weeks holiday next week at this rate just to get my BP down
chickencam
Oh no I dread that happening, the longer I go without an accident the more likely I think it is to happen Glad you and little dog are ok

BeckyBoo
Good grief! Glad to hear you're all OK, did the tractor stop at all? Metal can be mended, at least you're not hurt. Mrs Bertie
Egluntyne
Oh my word....you poor thing. What a nasty shock. Am glad you were not injured.
Cinnamon
Poor you. I dread that happening to me - we are all narrow lanes around here, & there are lots of tractors & the like too. Tractors & lots of Polo ponies being lead by one rider, taking up most of the road Just yesterday some MUPPET stopped when she saw me coming, but in the middle of the road,so I couldn't get past Honestly - people like that give women drivers a bad name
harveypup
Oh dear! At least you and your dog are ok though. (((BIG HUG)))
baby bears mum
Your poor thing. It really shakes you up doesn't it. Am glad you and your little dog are Ok. Take things steady. Sending you lots of hugs.
chocchick
Deep breaths. I got shunted across the road at 5mph by someone not looking where they were going and it took out about 4 separate panels on my new Yaris. I then drove over a rock recently. It does shake you up, but at least not a serious accident and you are OK.
Tiggy
poor thing, I had a bump once & took my front bumper off, the other car had a bit of a bump but it really shakes you up, thank goodness no one was hurt
The Dogmother
Didn't he even stop? It's a criminal offence (MRs B, correct me if I'm wrong) not to stop when you've had an accident At least you're OK.. it's only a car.
chickenlass
Thanks folks...Yes he did stop. Its quite a narrow road and they grow a lot of turf around here for golf courses etc. That will be why it had those really really wide back tyres on. I think they use them to spread the load and so as not to squash the grass. I'm hoping I can get my car repaired next week while I am on holiday in Northumberland. Dreaded showing my husband but he has been quite good about it ...after all I have been driving for over 30 years and never had an accident until this.
