bellekatz
glad to gear the good news - you start to fear the worst after three weeks has passed so it is great she is safe now.

Mrs Bertie Oh no. That's just terrible. That poor girl must have been terrified. How can people do it to children?
The Dogmother
Poor little girl was found concealed in the base of a divan bed. A 39 yr old man has been arrested. Bring back hanging. Mrs Bertie I have to say that I agree. I was concerned at the start, when I heard that a girl of her age had been allowed to walk home on her own anyway. I have told Rosie that she's not allowed out on her own until she's 36, or is a Judo black belt!
BeckyBoo
glad to gear the good news - you start to fear the worst after three weeks has passed so it is great she is safe now. Unfortunately I think it's a fairly safe statement that the worst has, in fact, happened. You don't hide someone in the bottom of a divan bed because you're treating them kindly and I don't suppose it was a game of hide and seek. A neighbour of the "offender" stated she appeared calm and not upset - for that I think we can safely say in shock and numb. On here we can be who we want to be, no one knows what we've seen, done, experienced and dealt with. Through my work I've dealt with people like him and I've dealt with people like Shannon both at the time and years down the line. I'll say it again. baby bears mum
Thank God - and I'm not what you'd call religious. There are some strange and dangerous people out there and I don't care what anyone says I keep my daughter as close as I can without smothering her. Where we live it is difficult to get anywhere without transport and I'm glad of that at times because we don't have the arguments 'I'm old enough to walk by myself.......' There's a lot to be said for living in the country! I hope she has all the support she needs and comes through this as whole as she can. And I won't say what I'd do to him .................. Charlottechicken
thank goodness, what a relief Was it her father's flat she was found at? Her stepfather is only 22 (I believe there were allegations made against him) and I understand the father and stepfather did not get on. I suppose it will all come out over the next few days, I just hope this little girl gets all the help she needs to adjust back to normality. Snowy
I know the worst has probably happened to the poor little girl, but it is such good news that she has been found alive! What a relief, I do hope the whole family gets all the help and support they now need.
