Hi Egluntine

Fab set up. No doubt in future I shall upgrade to a cube - can you tell me, do you take it to bits and take it outside to clean/power wash or how do you go about cleaning the cube.

I too have a large run, like yours, and at present take the eglu to bits and power wash outside. Was just wondering if this is possible with the cube?

Great name.. that boy will go far! Does he share your enthusiasm for the hens?

Karen, I honestly wouldn't bother with the hassle of taking it apart all the time - it's not like the eglu, which breaks down into a couple of bits; the cube (as you've probably discovered) comes in numerous panels as a sort of flat-pack. I'd do a quick clean with a bucket of soapy water on a weekly basis, then use the pressure washer every 6 weeks or so. The pressure will be enough to clean into all the nooks and crannies without taking it all apart.
