Thanks all . It's all a bit strange, I think it'll take me a while to settle in, but our new home is fantastic (or at least it will be once I finish all the unpacking ), we've found schools for the children, and all being well they'll start there on Monday. Now all I've got to do is start to find my way around, get a car, a job and start to meet people

Rotorua is a great place isn't it? The only problem is getting used to the smell of rotten eggs!! Have you got a bubbling hot mud spring in your garden or a geothermal spa??!!

 

We went to NZ for a 6-week tour about 20 years ago, we loved it and the people...so friendly...and I would have emigrated like a shot if it wasn't for OH not wanting to leave his family such a long way away. We still talk about the possibility from time to time.
