Introducing Henley Grange!

Recommended Posts

Our new run was installed by Tony of aviaries4u yesterday, and after five solid hours of work, here is the result!

It's 21ft by 6ft by 6ft (his biggest run so far), and has a large door on one side so we can pull the Cube out to clean it, and has an Eglu table so it can sit above the ground and thus gives extra ground space for the girls. We also had three perches built, and it has a fox proof skirt, and a UV protective roof. It's soooo nice not to have to grovel about on the floor to change the food and water, and the girls really love their new house! We entirely recommend Tony's work. He's an absolutely professional craftsman and his work really shows this.

(those of you in South Cambs will appreciate the joke about the run name!)

you should put your pics into the 'run inspiration' sticky on here. It's lovely. My run is waist height which is ok as parts come apart but am thinking of adding a full height extension (tricky as my garden is quite small and would mean some of boyfriends veg patch being sacrificed - shhh, don't tell him!)

Hope it looks half as good as your run.

Fantastic guys!!

I remember you saying that you saw ours on Tonys camera (octagon one) when he came round to see you.... Isnt he cool!!!

He has done a brilliant job and is'nt it much easier come rain or shine?? We even have little chairs in ours so we can drink our tea with the girls.

I still havnt posted any pics cos I'm thick I guess and I'm waiting for hubby to show me how!!

Enjoy your girls

Troy

That looks great. Reminds me I really should finish painting the shed that is attached to mine. The Big door is a great idea - I didn't realise that a normal size door is too small until I bought an extra coop in preperation for my ex batts - only to discover I couldn't get it in the run! I had to take the coop apart and re-assemble the parts inside the run!!
