Fizzle Knit
On the way home in the car this evening son no.3 was sick. Home within 5 mins, got hime out of car, let chickens out of run, lifted up foot mat that most of the sick had gone on, put it in back garden to hose it down - chickens started to eat it! Vomit-trocious.

Fizzle Knit
I wouldn't mind if they did eat ANYTHING but when we had our annual invasion of ants in the kitchen I brought the hens in thinking what atreat it would be for them and all four of them turned up their noses at the prospect

Reikiranf
It can't be bad for them or they wouldn't eat it would they? Fish are partial to a bit of vomit too My brother goes scuba diving and says that people are occasionally sick underwater which makes a great photo opportunity as it attracts loads of fish to swim along and eat it all up
Olly
I'm really wishing I hadn't read this! I'm afraid mine once ate cat sick, Welly had chucked up a load of recently-digested biscuits and I didn't spot it before I let them out .... they loved it. dancing cloud
Second good laugh of the morning! Just as well I wasn't doing my usual trick of surreptitiously browsing this forum on the laptop during boring meetings - could have been so difficult to explain ... chickencam
I knew that I shouldn't have opened this thread whilst eating toast and drinking coffee My cat Scamp eats her own vomit, she is very greedy eats too much then sicks it up then eats it again. Aren't animals lovely?

We have so many
