Louise
I was sitting in the conservatory this morning when one of my murderous beasties shot across the patio pursuing what looked like a tiny fox Blow me if it wasn't a Red Squirrel I couldn't believe it I didn't think they were as far south as me but it definitely was and it was so pretty and tiny compared to the grey First time I have ever seen one I just hope it stays away from both my cats and the grey ones as I know the greys are hooching with fleas and that is how squirrel pox is spread
Beauty-Box
Hi Louise Lucky you Iv'e only seen red squirrels at Formby. They are a lot smaller than the grey one's aren't they? I like the little tufty bits if hair on their ears. It would be nice if it stayed around so you could see it again, Love from Rebecca.x

ali-s
We get Red Squirrels at the School where I work (smiley for the Squirrel not work). They come close up to the staff room window looking for food or pinch the nuts and bread from our bird table. They are quite tame (although I don't think you could get really close to one) and scamper about the school grounds. Ocassionaly we get a visit from a Buzzard to the bird table. That is a spendid sight
