HennyPenny
I'd love to join in too! Can we include 'foodie' presents - like home-made jam? I do knit but have finally started knitting a jumper for Richard that I promised him for Christmas 2 years ago so that's taking up most of my time! Thanks
craftyhunnypie
I have a few things in progress - not decided which it will be whizzing its way in secret santa's sack. I love handmade & homemade. I will sit , admire& study for hours how someone has made something & that to me means a lot. Has a cut off date been decided yet? Couperwife
is 30th November too late? I want people to have a good chance of making something, and then a good chance of getting it in the post (but not having to spend a fortune on postage to get it there in time for Christmas) any suggestions would be gratefully received cathy x

Valkyrie
Sounds a good idea. I will have a go if I may join you. It would be needle and thread things though. With regard to likes and dislikes, I would appreciate anybody's hard work, but I don't have pierced ears (rather they would have extra holes if I was meant to have them! )

Guest
Put me down - I enjoy making things and I have a few bits and bobs on the go for this Christmas. Also its a lovely chance to recieve a nice pressie from another talented Omleteer - will make a refreshing change from much of the store bought junk that gets passed around at this time of year - any gift made by someone is a gift worth having. oooh I just thought - I will be away from 21st Dec but that shouldnt' be a problem shoud it? I know I'll have everything sent out well before then because last minute at Christmas can be a nightmare! I don't know if I'll get to open my gift on Xmas day though - I'm travelling to the US and they have LOT of restrictions on what you can take in, which would be hard to get round if I didn't know what was in the package. Valkyrie
Looks different to what I had planned, so had to improvise a bit - but not finished yet. Now I've made it sound awful - DD likes it and so does my mum, so I might have to make some more! I am worried it might be a little on the small side, but will have a surprise too. Still, beats doing the ironing (I know I'll have to finish it one day . . . )! In between I have actually finished my table cloth patchwork part, the backing arrived this week and so has been washed - and ironed. Now the wadding needs to be washed and preshrunk so I can put it together to quilt in time for Christmas and stop OH whinging for the 3rd year running! Nooooo not enough time!!!
