Lesley
We could have Omlet party in July and change our avatars to summery theme for the month - chickens in bikinis and do summer craft present exchange. Have a virtual omlet holiday away together somewhere exotic in Omlet holiday island land. Who are those nice men in white who've come to take me away. sounds good to me! - no need for the white coat
little chickadee
well, mines posted and I've made my daughter one aswell seeing as she tried to steal it. Adults with kids don't tend to get many presents as everyone stops buying you presents and buys them for your kids instead (who already get too many presents!) so this is a nice little added bit of excitement. Thankyou Cathy. What I want to know is - does Couperwife know who is sending her her present or has she managed to do some kind of random clever IT thing or got Couperman to do it? Daisy & Hattie
I received mine today. Have taken it out of the envelope but not out of the box. Too be honest I would be quite happy to just have the box. It is beautifully wrapped with a gorgeous gift tag. Thanks to whoever sent it to me. It cheered me up a bit as I am no longer Daisy and Hattie now, Just Hattie. Sadly Daisy passed away today. Boo hoo! It's such a shame and she was the friendliest of the two hens. Sorry to depress you all.
Fizzle Knit
So sorry to hear about Daisy. Do you think Hattie is missing her yet?
Daisy & Hattie
Yes she is, so I need to buy her a new frien or two. But I do feel a bit disrespectful towards Daisy in replacing her so soon. Does anyone have any ideas where I can buy hens in the Manchester or Cheshire areas?

Janty
Mine went today by guaranteed next day delivery. Thought that I'd make sure it got there as I was late making the contents. The man at the post office laughed when he saw the return address as Secret Santa.
HennyPenny
Posted mine on Saturday. The man in the post office paused for a moment before writing the receipt thing...and then just wrote the address and not the name! I suspect there were people all over the country doing just the same! I was a bit nervous about whether the person I'm sending to will like it until I thought about how excited I am just to receive something that someone else has made so I hope everyone feels the same. A huge THANK YOU to Couperwife for organising this - must have been a logistical nightmare but is such a wonderful thing to do

A huge THANK YOU to Couperwife for organising this - must have been a logistical nightmare but is such a wonderful thing to do Hear Hear! My present arrived last week, a lovely Christmassy-looking gift -- I'm SO excited about it, and the thought that someone went to the trouble to make it for me. And I have finally posted mine today, so I no longer feel guilty! And thank you Couperwife, from all of us!
Chook n Boo Mum
I Wild mum you are a coward getting it sent to your husbands work, are you scared of the postman? It's actually my work place too, as I'm Company Secretary!! At the mo I am more likely to be there than at home...would get ribbed more from the crew at work than from my postie who I never see anyway!! Olly
ooh, mine's arrived today! I haven't opened the envelope yet, although I guess it's wrapped inside. I'll be away for Christmas, so I might just sneakily open mine on Christmas Eve ... only so I can post a big thank-you, of course! I'm wrapping mine up in a minute, and will trek to the Post Office tomorrow. Oh dear, I hope they like it!
Valkyrie
I'm afraid mine will be out tomorrow - bit of a crisis, everyone wants attention or something done - JUST LEAVE ME ALONE I NEED TO DO SOMETHING IMPORTANT!!! Ahem rant over! Had to readjust the innards ( reads worse than it is )but happier with result - hope my person likes it. Off to wrap it up before DD kidnaps it - might be able to get it in the post tonight - fingers crossed. DD has done my avatar - I am completely useless, and after watching her nimble fingers in the hope I might remember how to do it on my own, decided that I would never ever remember. Bah humbug! Must gooooooo!!!!!!!!
