Recently I started a poll called "Boys vs Girls." Through this poll I found that most thought I was female (because of my forum name). Now I'm curious. Why did you choose your particular forum name?

 

I chose mine, because the name I originally wanted was being used. I chose angels4 because I was getting 4 girls and my sister thought it would be cute. Anybody else care to share. :D

 

Now, I'm interested in your avatar and why you chose it.

I chose mine because I LOVE "Foghorn Leghorn" and I thought he was cute in his Farmer Jeans.

Errrrr.........tough one this, my first name is Diane and my surname begins with A?!! hehehehe :wink:

 

I keep thinking about changing my name to Kyckling (Swedish for chicken) as my girls and boys have Swedish names......

 

(I was Diane A when I wrote this initally and have changed my name since)

Liked the word Eglantine.

 

It occurred to me that I could be ever so clever and have the word Eglu incorporated into the name so became Egluntine, although lots of people call me Eglu-tine.

 

I wish I'd spelled it Egluntyne now though, as in my head I pronounce the last syllable Tyne and not Teen.

 

To late now. :D

I wanted 'Angel'as it's a name I get called, don't know why?! That name was taken so I tried to make it still read Angel by putting 'Ange1'! Didn't work really as I know some call me Ange! I don't mind! :lol:

 

Dianne A, if you do change your name, please don't change your photo, I wont be able to recognise you! :D

In my head I always pronounce it Egluteen but now we've all been corrected!

 

My name is Elizabeth/Liz/Lizzy/Betsie/etc so got 'liz' because it's short and the 'in s. a.' bit was when I was on my gapyear in South Africa and it has stuck as a username, although everyone now thinks my name is Lindsay so another name I now respond to!!!

 

I must admit I recognise people by their pictures more than their name but it's interesting to see where everyone's name comes from as online usernames are often the first chance people get to name themselves rather than their parents!

Poplars cuz it is what my Dad decided when I asked him... I don't really like it, normally known as Eva da Beaver but that is a long story...

 

But I always sign off Eve because I then I realise when people are talking to me and they know who I am

Phonix because my mum works in a building called Phoenix Court and I always loved the word phoenix and also the mythology surrounding the bird of that name BUT when I was little I used to write stories about the place or the bird all the time but always got the spelling wrong :oops:

Ssooo whenever I was on forums I wanted the name phoenix and it was always taken soooo i went back to my childhood spelling lol or i use pho3nix

Never had any nick names before so tried to be clever and make mine a pun on the 'owl' in my surname :roll: Couldn't decide whether to be Snowy or Tawny (OH suggested Barn :evil: ) but as I'd just gone blonde thought Snowy was more apt :D

 

I love hearing where everyones names have come from :D
