bronze Posted September 9, 2008 Share Posted September 9, 2008 Earlier I took the dog out into the garden on her lead. Shes a big dog, a gsd x. I didn't notice that houdini chicken aka Maggie had got out again but Roo did. I went flying a couple of metres landing on my righthand shoulder, ribs and face. It hurt lots and I was completely winded and unable to catch either chicken or dog I had to leave them to it. Luckily DH was still home and came and collected her. Luckily I'm ok. Face is a bit scratched and its still a little tight when I breathe but its going to take a while before I forgive dog or chicken. ps only just found my glasses Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Normally Cookie's poos are not that smelly but she's obviously had a dodgy tummy whilst I was away and I've just cleaned up the garden - yuk, yuk, yuk!! Mind you, I've looked in the nesting box (Ginger is in there - she crouched, is this going to be my first 3 egg day ) and there is a pile of chicken poo in the roosting bit and that pongs to high heaven I don't think that my child/chicken/dog sitter knew about Bokashi Bran.
