ali-s
Oooh I want to buy one of these for DH's birthday. would you recommend yours? . My wireless, digital weather station was a "special" from Lidl. It shows inside and outside temperature, phases of the moon, tides, gives a forecast of the weather for the next few hours eg sunny, cloudy or rain, humidity, and has a digital clock which automatically alters when the clocks change. I think it cost about £10.

jlo
Bloomin cold here as well today. Perhaps it wasn't a good idea to wash the cars! I am hoping that it is not going to freeze tonight as I have to get up to pick up nephew from Gatwick and could do without defrosting the car at 5.30 am! The Dogmother
The general weather forecast for the country said that the Midlands would have snow tomorrow morning, but the detailed Midlands forecaster obviously hadn't been told that because the threat of snow had disappeared by the time he broadcast 5 mins later No chance of me not getting to work though - I live 5 mins walk from the office *tuts*

Lesley
......and I work from home I think ikt must be milder today - it's certainly warmer here in the office......no cold coming towards me from the window......but it's still pitch black out there I can see distant streetlights so it's not foggy I really must buy a weather station! - I'll use my birthday money for one! Karen & co.
[quote="Lesley I really must buy a weather station! - I'll use my birthday money for one! We have one from Aldi a couple of years ago they had them again this year, and I bought my nephew one as he loves to know what is gong on The trouble is I find it's the first thing I do when I get up, I wander over to it to see what the temperature is outside and what the pressure is doing The children do too They are great fun Karen x
Christian
My weather station was £10 from Lidl. I love it. Like Karen, I check first thing and every time I go into the kitchen. Hours of fun Must get out more.
Redwing
sad. It snowed here for a micro-second at about 6am (drove hubby to work - it must be love!) cold now but milder than last few days so all the windows are open.
Charlottechicken
Well, my not so accurate outdoor thermometer says minus 1 here, and we had a few flakes of snow this morning, small sharp ones that make a noise when they land . But now all that is left is a light dusting on the walls and paths as it has melted off the cars in the street. we also woke to a very light covering of snow yesterday too Forecasters have prediced freezing fog all day for tomorrow round here
