Plum
My girls have arrived. Roy is putting the cube together and asked me to go away for an hour. But I cant do anything . I just keep looking out of the window and taking pictures. The chickens are so pretty, they are in a cat carrier clucking quietly. I am so excited. Think I'll bake a cake. Plum
Hi there, daft lot. Tried to download pics but put wrong password in photobucket too many times, will try again now. I've had such a good day. They turned their noses up at marmite on toast but have been happy with corn and will take it from my hand except Pigeon who's a bit of a madam with the other two. She let me stroke her when she went to bed. There was an awful row earlier so I dashed out to see what was wrong and a cat had walked across the garden. I've got 4 so they've got to get used to it. Hen Watch
Congrats on the new arrivals Plum, can't wait for photos. Your girls will soon get used to cats. My lot bok bokked alarm calls at first but now they stand stock still for a moment or two when a cat is spotted on the fence, then they get on with pecking the grass. Plum
You are so right. I'll let them sleep now. Here are my girls. This is Pigeon on the ladder. She's going to be the boss At the front is Sparrow. She eats corn from my hand already. And Grackle. She soft and will let me stroke her. Nervous at first and wouldn't come out of the cube, probably because Pigeon kept chasing her. Aren't I lucky.
