Angels4
Here are some more pictures of our winter weather... We are scheduled to have another storm this evening so I might be able to upload more. In case anybody is interested. The back of the house with all those icicles....... The front of the house just looking cold.....Brrrrrrrrrr The driveway partially cleared...........Everything EXCEPT my and sisters boyfriends car. Clear sailing..........I'm outta here. Nice, until you have to drive in it....The county did a nice job clearing it up though. Don't try this at home. Diving whilst taking a picture. Last shot...........I ran out of memory. I'll post more after our next storm.
craftyhunnypie
Wow! don't walk too close to those icicles - they could do some damage if they fall. Do you have to shovel snow of the roof sometimes, as we used to have to do that in Austria. Snow like that just doesn't happen in the U.K & I just love snow! Angels4
We haven't shoveled snow off the roof in the past, but this is only our second year in this particular house. The icicles are a danger so I will occasionally go out and break the off most often we just choose not to use the entrance directly beneath the. OUCH!! Valkyrie
Fantastic - love those icicles. Now that's what I call a White Christmas. As New York has had some dire weather, I guess we will be getting a taste of it in a couple of weeks - batten the hatches everyone!

Luckily, I'm on vacation until the 5th January so I'm safe, but this was only the first storm of the season.

Angels4
Fantastic photos, Mark . Keep 'em coming . Just one question, how did you manage to get a photo of the front door without getting any footprints down the steps ? (Sneaked round from the back?) My suite is at the back of the house, so I just trudged out through the snow in the drive. Luckily the picture was taken on a Sunday (no mail) or the postman would have refused to give us ours. MedusA
What gorgeous photos, Mark. I am so I vaguely remember having deep snow, many years ago in Yorkshire, but not for years now here. It would be lovely just once in a while.
