You shouldn't be able to buy hot cross buns except at Easter as far as I'm concerned. I don't want to buy a swimming costume for my summer holiday yet, nor am I interested in "back to school" for summer uniform yet. IT'S STILL CHRISTMAS!!! I suppose its what this world is coming too eh.. I feel for the people who havent really had a chance to celebrate Christmas at all for some reason or another (due to bereavement, posted overseas, real poverty etc), when I think about it it makes me really sad. Sunshine Posted December 31, 2008 Share Posted December 31, 2008 The manager at the Cancer Research shop i vounteer in used to work for a storage company and she said that easter eggs used to arrive in August and then be put in storage until they were put on the shelves after Christmas. AND - I saw someone with a packet of Hot Cross Buns in her trolley just before Christmas I'm with you Mrs Bertie, Hot Cross Buns are only for Good Friday as far as I am concerned. I make my own now.
