I am still in shock. I think it will be a (cube red) because I love the colour of the (red eglu) No walk in run just yet as that 'seed' of an idea has been planted but I have to leave it alone to germinate into 'his' idea

The deal is we get a cube in place of the two eglus (anyone want to call dibs on one/both pm me  ) and two more girls :D then that REALLY REALLY is the full house of hens here.

Honest

I love my chickens. They are ALWAYS pleased to see me, they never say 'I'm bored' they never tantrum (well, not at me) they go to bed so easily, they get up happy and cheerful and they eat whatever I put down for them. If only the children were more like chickens

Great news! And well done that OH

You may want to think about keeping one of the eglus for introductions etc, as you'll have room for more girls in your (cube red) . I leapt straight in with my (cube green) and then acquired my (pink eglu) from ebay so I could have some more ex-batts :D . Pink is not a colour I'd have chosen (though I like it now it's here), so you may want to keep hold of a colour you're happy with.

Good luck with growing the walk-in run!

I did think about keeping one but DH said if I didnt sell both, I couldnt have a cube. SO. I thought, ok, I will sell both and then if necessary I can always hire one for intros when needed :shh: My secret plan at the mo, is to get the cube ordered, along with two new hens, get the cube set up and move the present girls in, get one eglu sold, but keep the other whilst the two new girls get introduced and then sell that eglu too. Tis a good plan, specially as DH hasn't asked/worked out, that the new girls will need to be seperated from the others for a while.

Also, we visited Beckieboo today and her lovely girls and her handsome boy too (I am so glad we got to see him before he is rehomed, truely magnificant looking chap) and Hubby was trying to 'picture' a walk in run like hers at our house
