Egluntyne
Saw a piece about this on the news yesterday. Anyone seen it? Looks as if it might be this years unexpected success. It is wowing audiences at private screenings, but they need a big distributer to take it on. If you like the sound of it, perhaps you might sign the petition....maybe the Omlet effect will strike again. **Here**

Ain't Nobody Here
Wow . What part did you play?
jlo
It was supposed to be at a festival in the states so we just had to whoop and cheer when the chaps came on stage. A couple of them were worth whooping and cheering at so it wasn't the most difficult acting in the world!! The only thing was - I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't enough people there to make it look like a really good festival so they may have had to redo the scene some other way. I haven't been an extra before and am unlikely to do it again but it was good fun!

A chickychickychick-ENN!!
This film has been in the can for forever. The director emailed me ages ago because I'd emailed them to find out when it would be released. They didn't know. I can't believe it doesn't have a national release with there still being a vibe for trad British films like The Full Monty, Brassed Off, Calendar Girls and even Hot Fuzz. Stellar cast, great premise. I want to see it!
Bantambabe
OH & I have both signed up and he had great fun spotting names in the list. He's been a morris dancer for about 22 yrs and dances with Adderbury Morris men in Oxfordshire. (I don't often tell people that ) Looks like a brill film though. hilda-and-evadne
If you like the sound of it, perhaps you might sign the petition.... Thank you, Egluntine, for mentioning this. I wouldn't have known anything about it, if you hadn't. I've signed - I was a morris dancer for years, with about three different sides, a foreman for two of the sides and for a time an ILEA evening class tutor in Cotsworld morris dancing. Taught myself to play the anglo-german concertina. I've made dozens of sets of bell pads and countless baldricks, cut down hazel coppices to make sticks, and danced at dawn on 1 May in Essex, Bristol, Sussex. Those were among the happiest days of my life. Also went to school with Harriet Walter
