I bought myself an adult, retro, Spacehopper just before Christmas - much more useful than a gym ball

 

The only problem was.......being retro, it was orange - but everyone else loved using it.....

 

...so, I had a look around to see what else was available.

 

I found loads of adult size hoppers in all colours! I used http://www.tsttoys.com - ordered yesterday at lunchtime and my parcel has just been delivered!

 

I now have a PINK hopper and also a set of 4 teenage sized hoppers which were on special offer

 

They have some hoppers like little ponies - but I managed to resist

 

I'm set up for the Easter hols. with grandchildren now - I have some magazines from the FTAGH section, a new field shelter that the sheep haven't used yet so it will be a den first, mugs to paint and fill with little choccie. eggs and spacehoppers That should keep them quiet!

I asked for one when it was my 40th birthday from my sister! It's bright orange but I'd love one in another colour... could have races then...

I have a big blue gym ball that I sit on while at the home PC, helps my back and is good exercise for the old core muscles. I'd love one at work, but I think it's a step too far for the chaps to accept. Besides, they'd be playing footie with it

Wow! Looks like so much fun and I love all the colours they come in! My sister has a bright orange one, but the chickens are really scared of it so we can't use it in the garden as we don't have enough space.

Spacehoppers are so much more fun than boring gym balls! I sit on mine at the computer as well when my back is sore.

 

I have to admit that when Jazz approached it for the first time I growled (she couldn't see my face) to make her scared of it - I didn't want it punctured in the first 5 minutes! It worked

I'm growling at the evil smilies at the moment - I see they're still here I want the happy face *lol* one back!

I got them for the boys the christmas before last - from Hawkins Bazaar. They had a set of 4 different coloured adult hoppers to buy as a pack to hold races! Can't see them now though I think the boys were a bit young to appreciate them at the time - Matthew's threw him off and he hasn't dared to sit on it since I must get them out and try again!

I have been known to partake in a spacehopper race or two at work with the children.

Oh how great are the horsey ones?! I was deprived as a child, but made up for it when number one son came along and I had a go with his. In fact I think the grown ups ended up on it more than he did. Wretched thing broke in the end.

I think perhaps a birthday present for OH has just been found. He won't expect that!

Wow, that's brought back some memories, I used to love my spacehopper when I was a child, not used one for years and years though, but reading this thread is making me itch to have a go. I wonder where I can find one over here ........or dare I ask hubby to bring one back with him after his forthcoming trip "home"

hmmmmmm ........ there's always the front garden but that will have a large skip in it during the week of my 40th as the builders will be here putting in my new ensuite :D
