PapaJuliet
Last league match of the ice hockey season tomorrow. We need to win to guarantee 2nd place. 1st day of the marshalling season next Saturday 2nd leg of the 1st round of the ice hockey play-offs next Sunday. (We need to win over the 2 legs.) The play-off weekend in Nottingham the following weekend ( Though it'll be a bit disappointing if we lose next weekend and don't get to play in Nottingham). The following Thursday fly to America for my Christmas present... 2 ice hockey matches, a baseball match then the Grand Prix of Long Beach (IRL) (marshalling) Meeting up with loads of old friends in America. After that, a fairly normal year... probably marshalling most weekends with a few extra activities in between. PJ

A chickychickychick-ENN!!
Seeing the last ever episode of Battlestar Galactica. We downloaded and watched it today. I won't say more because I wouldn't want to spoil it for you. We cheated too. OMG!!! What are we going to do now? No more Adama! No more Kara! Big gaping TV void! Gah!!! I am making a Victorian-style cross-stitch sampler in homage. I never thought this day would come. I'm a sci-fi geek and I'm doing cross-stitch. This was never the plan! (Speaking of the plan, Edward James 'god' Olmos is directing The Plan - a long episode in the style of Razor set between series 2-3 or 3-4. YAY!!!!) gracefruit
I've been watching The Wire and am up to season 3. It's good, but it doesn't fill the BG void. Is The Plan the Caprica movie? I've seen a trailer, but no release date.
Old Speckled Hen
Seeing the last ever episode of Battlestar Galactica. I used to watch this. Loved the cyber doggie thing. What was his name? Muffit? But that was years ago, is it still on? What am I looking forward to? Well I was looking forward to a nice lunch out today but hubby has just left on a mountain rescue shout. I AM looking forward to meeting my daughter to see Quidam on Thursday. Haven't seen her in ages as we live 300 miles apart. Going on a walking holiday in Mallorca in less than two weeks, can't wait. Couperwife
well, should have posted this before but went to see Witches of Eastwick last night up a Sunderland Empire Theatre Marty Pellow was in it (wet wet wet) yes, he is still gorgeous ) it was brilliant AND in 2 weeks we are going to the pins and needles exhibition in newcastle to be followed by Chicago (with some Osmond guy - think its jimmy, but I could be wrong ) then, on easter weekend we are going to Southend to the brother and nephews baptisms (same day ) so spending a weekend with them life should calm down for a little while just in time for Girls Aloud in June and Mamma Mia in December phew cathy x
