My Garden (Picture upload practice)

Recommended Posts

Thanks for all your lovely posts :D

I suspect it will be a little battered in a couple of weeks, I will post a pic so you can all see the destruction

We were thinking of putting the (green eglu) between the two palm trees but we think it might be a little tight on the width for getting to the eggport cos of the garage wall.

At the front of the photo there is French doors from the dining room, we think it may go there. We will be out over the weekend with a tape measure and some old wood plotting it I think

I know one thing it will be squeezed in somewhere :lol:

I think its going to be along week but I will be counting the days down now

Geoff, I used Flikr

If you go to "How to use the omlet forum"

Go to first post "Adding photos to posts" If you read down to where it says about Flikr and click the green link the instructions are quite easy. :D

I'd recommend Flickr as it worked first time for me - didn't think it would that is why I had this practice run :lol:

Good luck

Image Shack is another good one, although there is a limit on the size of the original photo it will handle when using the free edition.

Here's my top tip for photo's on the forum. Before hitting the 'Submit' button, press 'Preview' first. This will show you how your post will look, complete with any pictures and Smiles. If it looks right in the Preview view, it will be fine when published on-line . If not, you can correct any hic-ups, preview again, and then once happy, press 'Submit' with full confidence that your post will appear exactly as you expected.

The flowers will be the least of your worries

Your chooks are going to have so much fun digging up all that slate and kicking it all about. There was slate in the footer beds for my pergola and in the raised beds around my BBQ area- now there is just slate all over the patio. I'm gradually lifting it all up to put elsewhere - like the front garden where I don't have chickens!

My garden also had stones on top of a couple of the bed - decorative you understand. Now they are all over the edge of the lawn and threatening to break my mower
