It last 2 weeks in cats & dogs but most likely half that time in chooks. due to their fast metabolism. Meany showed no improvement after the week and I made one of "those" appointments for the next day. gave her dog food for her last breacfasrt and off she trundled to play in the gardenand was right as rain for a good little while.. It was one of her last rallies. which lasted (sorry bit vague about a week or 10 days) Sadly for Meany it did not work, but this does not mean it won't for your girl, I tell you the story so that you know that it might look like there's no improvement for a wee while. all crossed for you. x Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Guest Posted April 7, 2009 Share Posted April 7, 2009 she wasn't any better this morning, her crop hadn't gone down at all and I just knew it was time. I didn't want her to suffer any longer so I took her to the vets and they let me stay with her while she went to sleep. We'll bury her near Shalott.
