I may be completely wrong but I think these "bots" are linked to search engines? So nothing sinister .

That's what I thought too, they look through the forum and pick up certain words so when you google something it will bring up a link to this forum.

No, quite normal, Helly Welly . I like them too. They are like little friends, tuning in to see what we're all up to. I'm sure they must have robot hens too .
