Okay, seeing as we're finding out odd little things about each other at the moment (Crumble + Custard and Habits of toliet paper hanging) I thought I'd ask you which you prefer. The bottom of a hot cross bun or the top ?

Bottoms! Lightly toasted with butter and raspberry jam. The tops always stick to the roof of my mouth or burn too much in the toaster.

I've never had them toasted , but I always have them warm. I always heat them through in the oven or the microwave then the butter just melts in mmmmmmmmmmm.

 

I definitely prefer the top, as I make my own and I don't make them sticky on the outside, but I do make the crosses out of a sweet sugar/flour mix mmmmmmmmm .

 

You've just reminded me, I made another batch yesterday, I only ate one *rushes off to feast on buns*
