poultrypaul123
Well seen as you all liked my previous photos I thought you would all like to see some pics of our other animals and of course some of our hens Our Geese, Brucey & Lucy... Our Jersey Cows, Buttercup, Jemima (RIP) & Daisy in one of the rented winter paddocks... Our Daughter with 2 miniature shetlands, Toffee and Jet, that we had on loan a few years back in our neighbours field that they kindly let us use... Then we have the ex-batts shown here in the orchard were they stay in the summer along with all the other hens... And then our hens, the orps, wyandottes and mixed flock... Hope you enjoyed them. Why doesn't everyone post pics of all their animals as well? Paul

*mummy_hen*
I LOVE your geese. We had a pair of geese from 6 weeks old and they were so tame, i even painted the girls toenails pink each week - they made such beautiful pets. Are they white embdens? That is the breed we had. Your other photos are lovely as well btw, i just have a soft spot for geese as they don't ever get the credit they deserve as pets!!

mostin
Gorgeous animals. Did you jet wash those geese before taking that photo , they are suspiciously clean . Mini-shetlands too, ooooooo I am so . Just realised you are just North of harrogate. You are near enough for an invasion by the yorkshire branch of the omleteers . Seriously though, we are all meeting up at Harlow Carr gardens today, to talk chook and have a picnic, and maybe tea and cakes at bettys later . Please join us if you are free . I will pm you my mobile number as people are joining the group at all times and then you can find us in the gardens if you want to .
