Aga n Chickens
I've an excuse.....it's raining at the mo In half an hour I need to pop round to my Mum and Gran's for the afternoon to help move them out of their 'too large for them to cope with now 3 bedroom house', and into a 2 bedroom Warden Aided bungalow. I know what I'd rather be doing, but I'll be able to pick up with what's been happening in Omlet land later, when I need to chill out after move. Mum's in her 70s and Gran 90+ so it's been all hands on deck since the weekend reminding them a quart won't fit into a pint pot. Wish me luck Christine
lisaroo2
I should be writing an essay, but just can't get started on it!
Aga n Chickens
Phew..... Move went well, only to find that they are not taking their larder fridge/freezer with them as the seal on the freezer is not as good as it should be. Waved them off as they left in a taxi behind the removal van and had a last look round the kitchen. Shock...horror...the worst case of a frosted up freezer I've ever seen As far as I can tell it's the only slight oversight Lucky for us, Mum has not put her house on the market yet, so we still have time to take over what she's forgotter or bring back what she no longer has room for. At least the big stuff has been loaded onto the lorry. So I've had to leave the freezer to defrost with loads of towels and paper over the floor and will pop round later to see how it's going. Good job the kitchen floor has ceramic tiles and not laminated. Starting to feel human again and not like a fly with blue pants on So back into Omlet land to see what's been happening while I've been away. Great news about the new mods Regards, Christine
ubereglu
I'm a bit like that at the minute, but at least I've now sorted out my CV and written my letter of application to go with it. Now it's just Omlet Facebook But I'll also have to clean out the chickens, wash hair, make tea...at least I don't have to do revision tonight as I have no exams until after half term! YAY!
