Glorious day yesterday. We were up early for a walk up over Kentmere Pike then fired up the barbecue for dinner.

Lovely morning but torrential rain forecast for the afternoon.

It's grey, dry and very still - can't see any breeze at all, not the slightest waft - but then I haven't got my specs on.

Sat and Sunday in Bristol was sooooo hot!! I have caught the sun quite a bit while cleaning and washing out the chooks house!

 

Today is warm and sunny but i am told it is going to rain later.

Saturday and Sunday were lovely and sunny, but today is overcast and muggy, we've just had a heavy shower and are forecast storms today.

Very hot and sunny. Lots of cumulus clouds to make out funny shapes with and the breeze has picked up - perhaps it's the one that heralds the storm? 29% probability, so I don't think we'll get one.

Day started with lovely sunshine. Took the dog up to the lake and watched trout rising and checked out the bilberries on the fells.

By four O'Clock day had turned to night with cracking lightening,booming thunder and torrential rain. Now the sun is shining, the birds are singing and all is right with the world.

We had our thunderstorms at lunchtime, boy did it ever bucket down. At DD's school, the fire alarm went off and they all had to trudge outside without coats, then the hail came By the time they went in, the whole school had to change into their PE kits. DD came out with her little skimpy shorts and no socks and then we had to go straight to the dentist Lookslike a drier day tomorrow.

How strange, exactly the same down here in Devon

 

it was a perfect beautiful summers morning here, really warm. When I was driving home from work it was flash floods and scary thunder/lightning. Weird!
