Angus Arran Chooks
Well, we finally have it up and running! Admitedly it doesnt look as nice as everyone elses, but with our garden being on a slope it was the best I could do! Got two black rocks at 7am this morning - 2 eggs by lunch time!! Now, I know my life would not be worth living without posting photos, so here we go... The girls and Angus - their first day! The eglu Gus with his first eggs! Two Isa Browns on Monday coming. No names yet - possibly Margory and Peggy?!

sadietoo
I think that looks fab....and that's one pleased little chap too! I was only saying the other day at work that I wished I had known what easy, fantastic, and rewarding pets Chickens make when my kids were younger....I wouldn't have bothered with hamsters or guinea pigs had I realised! I hope you have a great time with your chickens
jenimac
Looks lovley and your son looks so happy. Some of my children asked me when they were home why didn't we have chickens as pets when they were younger!!!!!!!! As if omlet eglus and cubes existed then and I had time with 5 children aged 8 and under.
