tom123
Get a phone call this morning from a lady. She says 'Your Pekins are now old enough to be sexed, would you like to come and pick them up today' and then I say 'Excuse me? What pekins?' Then she says 'The pekins you reserved a couple of months ago and you said you would collect them around now.' And then I remembered I had spoke to a friend of my nans and she had told me she had lots of pekin eggs in the incubator. I had said could I have a few girls when they are ready however we had all forgotten about it since the fox attack as we have had a lot going on. We were looking for some more pekins just not yet but o well! We are going over there this afternoon to pick up 2 (or three ) little girls aged 8-10 weeks. She has loads of different colours including cuckoo, buff, lemon splash? (made up I think!) and more! Wish me luck Pictures will be here later Tom Edited May 27, 2009 by Guest

Yorkshire Pudding
Thank goodness it was that kind of a 'Mostin'! a Mostin not a Mostin. She must be the only Omleteer to have given her name to two such different verbs! How lovely, can't wait to see the pictures.

mostin
OMG Tom, you had me really worried there for a moment , but instead you have ended up with some really cute little girls . They are gorgeous. I can't believe "doing a mostin" has 2 meanings , but maybe people will believe me now, that orders can be accidentally not cancelled, or forgotten , these things do really happen . I would have seen this thread earlier, but I've been a bit busy all day with my two new girls who accidentally came home with me yesterday from a chicken auction , I just don't know how these things happen .
