Recommended Posts

Here's are new dog Jenson. He's a 7 month old Lurcher and totally munchable.

We've been looking for a dog for a while now and were pointed in this boys' direction by our very own Claret

He's had a very long drive to us from Manchester and is totally shattered poor love.

His history is he was born in a rescue centre. He was adopted by a family 2 months ago who unfortunately had a change of circumstances.

We found him on a lurcher website and offered him a new home.

He's not too bothered about the chickens but does stand and watch them. Hopefully with a bit of training he'll be ok with them.

Look at that big lurchery smile sarah!

he has some growign to do too, looking at those growth plates on his front legs.

Ruby sends lots of lurchery licks and looks forward to rough-housing with him next Saturday.

That forum is fantastic, and even thoguh I can't have any more dogs, I still window shop and just couldn't resist that face. Does OH love him too?

We met Jenson on saturday, when we walked the hounds in a field outside Stratford upon Avon after the farmers' market.... in the pouring rain!

Jenson is a lovely lad - very handsome and well behaved; he and Ruby enjoyed racing around in big circles and jumping around in the long grass. I managed to forget my camera, so no shots of wet hounds streaking past, but I will try to remember next time we see him.

Ruby sends Jenson licks and play growls. :D

Jenson had a great day on Saturday. He was totally shattered all day and we dragged him out for his evening stroll.

It was great to see him playing with a dog that could keep up with him and didn't get shattered after 5 minutes of chasing.

We'll definitely arrange another play date.
