sparkysmum
came back with these.................. Aren't they gorgeous They are almost 12 weeks old and quite timid although becoming more adventurous. The salmon faverolle has been named " Whiskers" and the lavender araucana is "Pom Pom" They are currently sleeping in a pet carrier in our omlet run and seem to be very happy with their chickhood Thanks Fee Below are our ex batt ladies 1year on. In great condition despite being almost gobbled by Sparky in their early days Picture of health. Will be interesting to see how our feisty ladies take to garden sharing Will have to change my signature now

feemcg
Hope they've settled in well Allison. I'm fairly sure now the other Lav Araucana is a boy.....went away last week and came back to some very ornate tail feathers......and just after I'd got rid of all the other boys too . I collected a gorgeous wee Millefleur Pekin tonight to keep the wee mottled one company.....so cute! They're to be called Mabel and Molly. The white Araucana is called Summer and the 2 Faverolles Pinky and Peach.....all Anna's choices!

ubereglu
They're lovely. You might not want to fully integrate them yet though as they'll need growers pellets until they're about 16 week old.

sparkysmum
Hi, won't be attempting integrations for a while The youngsters seem to be quite happy in their eglu run, even when the gate is open. Boris has become super-feisty when they are in close proximity. Although she is ok with them when there is no competition for space. I just hope that when winter comes they will be willing to share the eglu as buying another eglu isn't on right now
