you can get frost from about +2 so the Thermometer could be right. ice starts to form below 0

Seemed to be frosty out the front when I got up earlier, but now we have fairly thick fog. Getting the reluctant hens out later it seemed a tad warmer, no frost, still fog and damp. Trees are dripping all over the run. All very quiet and still out there (apart from Apache whingeing in the nest box).

Very heavy frost this morning.

 

Lovely sensation of crunching across the grass and mud. Had to use the run pin to dislodge the ice in the glugs.

I checked the Met Office site last night before bed and they said no lower than 2 degrees, it was minus 2 degrees at 7am

 

It's very foggy here too and the ice on the car was so thick. It's going to get quite a bit colder over the next few day too so they say.

0deg here at 6.30am in the town centre and very frosty, but had risen to 1.4deg 20 mins later and a very thick fog had gathered, it's still there and the frost has gone.

Blooming freezing here, just checked on the chooks, they are all nice and toasty

Lovely piccies. The mist cleared here but that was as far as it got - still left with damp and grey murky stuff.
