Egluntyne
Always get up early. Have to boot the family out to work etc. I'm in pyjamas. Not a pretty sight.
Ain't Nobody Here
Got to get the boys up by 7am (takes about 5 attempts and often ends in water being dripped onto faces ). I'm dressed and all ready for my step class at 9.30 .
Chickvic
I'm up early cos I like lots of time to get ready, if I post before 6.30am I'm in jammies, I get in the shower and I'm now dressed and ready for work
WarrensWorld
I can't lay in bed, and I'm a morning person......... Arthritis probably.........
ali-s
I'm up because I have to wake Natalie up for school. If she is still in bed after me calling her twice I send the Cat in Not working today so I am still in my PJ's and dressing gown.
Cinnamon
Dressing gown & Crocs I am often here at 6.30ish, as thats when the daughters need to be woken,so I come down for a coffee & a mooch. I like it when its quiet, especially with all those red arrows to plough through!
Space Chick
I may be too late! I am fully dressed When I am in work, I am usually on here by 6.30am, but I'm not in work at the moment, but I am still an early riser
Griffin
I have to wake the girls at 7am so they're ready for school on time. I never realised it was possible to take over an hour to get dressed but Emily has shown me how I can guarantee when it comes to kicking her out the door at 8.35am she'll still not be ready I get dressed as soon as I get up because I have to let the chooks out and see to the dogs. I wear nothing in bed so it's best I do put something on before heading outside
dippy bird
I can't sleep past 6.30 - comes from starting work at 7.30 for 10 years. Now that I have lost my job, I still get up early, always get showered and dressed after letting the girls out, and at this time I start yelling up two flights of stairs to get my son out of bed for school! So here I go ------JORDAN GET UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lesley
I can't lay in bed, and I'm a morning person......... Arthritis probably......... I know that feeling! I'm usually around by 6.30 - in a big pink T shirt.......not a pretty sight If I'm any later than 7.30 then I'm showered and dressed, bed made etc.
Seagazer
I can't sleep properly at the moment, uncle worries, got a wedding coming up and my mind is full of stress about my outfit, got to wear a hat but I think I'm subsituting the wedding worry for my uncle. Hopefully it'll sort itself out and its not the menopause as I don't cope with not sleeping (have very red eyes from being so emotional)
chickencam
I admire you all I am sooo not a morning person. I am not fit to speak to before 10am and if the children are not at school, and at weekends I start the day slowly with breakfast at 8am then some reading and up, washed and dressed by 9.30. I have to be up before 7am when the children are at school which is lovely in the summer but I hate the dark winter mornings and wish that I could hibernate. I have always struggled to get up in a morning.
Chookiehen
I was never a morning person, until Duncan & Owen got old enough to want to sleep in, and now I'm positively chirpy in the mornings, running around getting Squidger and Caitlin organised, making sure chookiehubbie is up and out on time etc. I used to wake the boys up very gently, but I use Polo and Bryn as face-licking alarm clocks now... I'm never organised enough to get on the internet before 9am normally though!
Mrs Webmuppet
I work shifts so I am often up a 'silly o'clock' in the morning. If I am not due at work sooo early, I have to get Little Miss Webmuppet up and off to school ( quite a challenge.....I don't have a cat or dog to assist me). I love those few minutes of peace before all hell breaks loose!
Chucky Mama
I was up at 2am this week as was woken up by an owl and then started thinking about how I was going to manage being in 3 places at once on Saturday and couldn't get back to sleep. So I went on to the forum. I was the only one and so didn't post as I though someone might spot the time of my post and think that I was a bit sad (which of course I was)
Lesley
I bet you were alone with the Bots! - I hate that, I find them creepy

The Dogmother
I like the bots, they're quite sweet really. I'm up at 6am to get all the animals sorted, dog walked, breakfast made and Rosie up and ready for school. I'm a real morning person, all chirpy, but I like the early quiet to get stuff done and potter. No time for the forum though at that hour. Lesley
The Bots aren't sweet at 3am - they're scary I'm a lark and an owl - and so is my son - there was an article in BBC Focus magazine about finding a gene responsible for some people needing only 6 hours sleep. Paddy
I hate mornings although that may be down to working late most nights. My other half and daughter both love them and wake up naturally around 6.30 all bright and smiley. I am glad to report my five year old boy loves his bed and is a nightmare to get up. I really don't communicate well before 10! So everyone has to tread very carefully - however after that i am as happy as can be!
Janty
I sometimes come on at about 6-6.30 am when I've done the girls and I've got the breakfast on.
Lesley
I've been awake since 5.00 and it's too dark to go down to the outbuildings to check on the ducklings For the first time in ages I slept through from midnight to 5am, so a good night for me I've been waking about 3 times just lately. I'm just waiting for the merest hint of dawn then I can wander outside.......
