Cinnamon
Channel 4, 10 pm,Wednesday If anyone missed this on Sky, its well worth giving it a shot on terrestrial next week Its the story of an American town in the Deep South, with all the lovely drawling accents. Vampires now live among humans but tend to keep to themselves & suffer from prejudice. They dink an artificial blood drink to stop them from needing to feed.....well,some of them do anyhow A waitress called Sookie meets a non feeding Vampire called Bill & they fall in love, but Sookie has some very odd friends & even odder family, & Bill is still a vampire, even if he is a good one. To make matters worse Humans have discovered that Vampire blood is like a sort of super Viagara to them........... WARNING - it is explicit, & bloody in places, but my goodness it is a lot of fun in a sort of 'Twin Peaks' kind of way

Olly
Is this the new Alan Ball (Six Feet Under) production? If so I'll definitely give it a go - Six Feet Under was brilliant.
Ain't Nobody Here
Ooh, I loved Six Feet Under . We've got the whole series taped on the V+ box. I'm glad to hear it's good . (Sounds a little like Being Human, which was really good too!)

chick wiggle
Im really looking forward to this. I've read the Twilight series and seen the 1st film and now avidly awaiting the next one - loved it. Vampires are really hot at the moment. Anyone watching Moonlight on Virgin1 at the moment, its Brill!
Valkyrie
We started to but I didn't like one scene - it is certainly very graphic and I didn't deem it necessary to the programme. Wish they would stop that - even Patrick Swayze would agree. I think OH would have been happy to continue though! lisa33
I adored True Blood and will definately watch it again on Channel 4. A million times better than the Twilight stuff!!! Hope they start the second series soon though!!
Alis girls
What a blood thirsty lot you are - a few vampires using the forum? Wheres my garlic?
Valkyrie
Not as good as Moonlight though - the characters are unpleasant in this programme - nothing to make you warm to them at all.

Griffin
We watched it last night and loved it. I'm now trying to resist the temptation to download it all
Chucky Mama
We watched it and thought it was great, agree regarding the rather unnecessary 'rude' scene though, perhaps it was deemed vital to what happened next but could still have been achieved a little less graphically.
