Hellooooo All,

I love our hens - but most lovely to see - so does our daughter & to witness her come home every day from 6th form, straight into the garden dumps down all her bags onto the lawn shrieks for the girlies & they all, & 7 of them ) coming running as fast as their little legs will carry them to greet her ( doesnt matter that its really for more food mummy ha ha ) then I see the mono syllabic hormonal stressy studious too much study homework moany mare mode become a beauoootiful animated happy heart with excited curious love flowing cuddly child laughing cuddling a chook surrounded by all others :)

I LOVE MY CHICKENS NOT ONLY BECAUSE THEY'RE CHICKENS BUT BECAUSE OF THOSE PRECIOUS MOMENTS WHEN WE BEST SEE OUR REAL DAUGHTER :)

Guilty as charged...totally 100% besotted with my bundles of feathers :D

Oh I got all emotional with that description Ms T :anxious: Lovely thing to see children & chooks...... my 9yo also heads straight for the runs to let the chookles out on her return, checking for eggs in the Bitza run & chatting to them all at the same time, my 12yo does but to a lesser degree, he wants the dogs first & chooks 2nd........actually so does DH, though he does put his clobber inside before he comes out for the chook check :wink:

 

Of course! Im soo in love with my chickens and just dont understand people who think Im mad. Im not mad ! smiley-whacky011.gif

 

We're not mad...it's the others :wink::lol::lol::lol::lol: They don't think I'm so mad when I have yummy eggs for sale though :whistle: !!

They really are amazing remedies for stress. My neighbour is totally hooked on them-he's a senior gentleman and now sits out in his greenhouse with them every day!

 

In fact he's managed to find a pen for the ex-batts just now!!
