Yes that is my bed with petrova in it having just laid her egg and decided to go broody

 

I have no idea how she is getting in i think it must be the cat flap. I'm starting to get a little paranoid about sitting down on the bed though. The only joy is it's hopefully going to be easier to break the broodiness because i can just shut her out and the others can carry on laying in the nests. (At the moment she will only ever lay in my bed )

 

Does anyone else think my chickens are spoilt??

Not so much lenient as hen pecked :wink:she is also a member of the SAS i didn't know she was up there till i couldn't find her in the garden

I really really wish she wouldn't. She never worries about wether i'm in it or not. sometimes when i've nipped out and let them out then gone back for a lie in she has snuck up and quitely laid with me in there. Thankfully i've never yet squashed an egg though i think it's a matter of time

That's one of DH's reasons for not getting a cat...would need a catflap & end up with dogs stuck in it and chooks coming through it....we don't have any doors between the back door and the rest of the house, though our bedrooms all have doors they are rarely shut
