I have official permission from Couperwife to open my present early as it has edible things ( containing pecans :drool: ) in it. Cathy has passed on a message to me from my SS 8)8)8)8)8)

 

 

Me too..... though no mention of pecans :wink: .......best I be a good girl & do as I'm told :lol:

 

Can't post piccies yet though as my computer is playing up & I'm on the backup "windup" version..........DS may be able to help though.........

Santa knocked on the door this afternoon! :dance: Hmmm, my SS knows how fidgety I am and sneaky - I have been partly foiled. :lol: Lovely box - which will be lovingly recycled for my fabric stash - the odd bits - so even the wrapping is a nice pressie! Er and we opened the box - DD bouncing around yelling "OPEN IT OPEN IT"! Lovely smelly chickens to hang up and a pretty red fluffy snowflake and more wrapped up bits which will be put under the tree (just as well I've been decorating it). And as madam is off to college she was going to hijack one of the chickens! NOOOOOOO!

 

So thank you so very much. Will take piccies later.

 

Oh dear, puts mine to shame. I knew the washing up bottle was not good enough.

Mmmmmm.......lere's fum luverly choccy balls..........sorry finished that one now :wink: ...and a gorgeous wheatbag in a scrummy chook fabric cover........and some black felt coasters with purple stitching around the edges.......and a black and pink little felt book which will be very useful for putting pins & needles in.............and some gorgeous scented bath salts..............{big intake of breath :wink: }.........and a set of wine glass charms..and some little salt dough(?) star tree decs which will be put up with the children's advent calendar, well away from the dogs snuffly noses...............and a diddy pot of yummy lip balm........and did I mention the chocolate truffles :drool::drool::drool: .............................I am feeling a very spoilt omleteer once again.........thank you so much Secret Santa you are a wonderful generous person :clap::clap::clap::clap:

Mentioned it to OH and he's a bit concerned that it hasn't arrived - he wonders if the posties aren't bothering to deliver yet. It should be there lickety spit. I'm wondering if it has exploded all over the sorting office. Better watch out for policemen in flack jackets keeping an eye on this house! OK arrest me occifers.

Mine has arrived :D:D:D:D

 

It came whilst I was at work. I usually phone hubby each day whilst I am on my lunch at work, & when he told me my wonderful parcel was here I made him open it there & then so he could tell me what was inside.

 

I got a lovely wicker hamper basket containing bramley lemon curd, tablet, Christmas chutney & candied orange stick, all beautifully presented. There's a lovely felt Christmas decoration on the front of the hamper, & a tin of yummy biscuits, too.

 

I'll post pictures later but I just wanted to say to my SS that I am overwhelmed x

 

It's all so lovely.

I havn't heard that my secret santa has arrived and i havn't recieved one yet. I posted mine 1st class on Mon so it should be there by now. Maybe people have recieved things but not posted about them yet?

 

I've loved coming to this thread to see what everyone has got so far! Its really exciting! I'm really looking forward to mine arriving and i've already decided to open it straight away as i have no paitence! Has anyone waited so far?

I'm also excited. I'm excited for my recipient & I'm excited for me. Mine hasn't come yet - which is making it even more exciting. I dive to the front door each morning when I hear the post. We have a race usually of who can pick up the post first. Very sad I know, but we get nice things in the post more often than not. :D

I hope my recipient likes theirs when it arrives. It was made with a lot of concentration I can tell you! :lol:
